Practice areas:

Abril focuses its practice on processing of patents, utility models and industrial designs before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), as well as the proper use thereof. Likewise, she masters all the procedures related to the deposit of works of Copyright and Registration of Reservations, among others, before the National Institute of Copyright.
In the international arena, she is responsible for presenting and processing applications for inventions through the various international instruments available, such as the Paris Convention, the Patent Cooperation Agreement and the Hague Agreement. She also coordinates all preservation of the owner’s rights.
Similarly, she advises and coordinates the defense of our client’s patent rights, utility models or industrial designs, as well as the opposition of these rights to third parties.
In the same way, and thanks to her wide experience, she supports our clients in the wording and revision of contracts, incorporation of companies, business strategies, etc.
